Control Bar

In Excel, I am trying to put a bar above letters to
designate the different types of control charts but I
cannot figure this out. I am sure it is something simple
but it has me stumped. Thanks for your help.

You can use the Equation Editor to create the symbols -- choose
Insert>Object, and choose Equation Editor from the list.

If it's not in the list, you can open the Control Panel, and use the
Add/Remove Programs utility to install it from the CD.
