Is something equivalent in compactframework vb.net to the control arrays in
vb6? an array of a particular control like a command button?

Also, should the click event of a label be active? Doesn't seem to be for
me.

A "control array" can be done like this:

Dim myArray as Control()

The CF Label doesn't have a Click event. The OpenNETCF LinkLabel does:
