is there a way to not show previous web sites visited in
the drop box?

When clicking on FILE, OPEN, and typing in web address,
is there a way to not show previous web sites visited in
the drop box?

On Desktop, click [Start] > Rt. click [Internet] > [Properties]
or, on any web page, [Tools] on menu bar > [Internet Options]
Now in the Internet Options window that appears
For list of URLs visited
General tab > [Clear History]
For list of URL and other form filling textbox prompts
Content tab > [AutoComplete]
