Continuous Reboot After Oct Critical Updates

After applying the October critical updates my system continuously reboots.
Could not use SAFE MODE to back out the updates. I ended up doing a couple
or repair reinstalls and have the system running OK without applying the
October maintenance.

Is this a known problem (didn't find it in the newsgroups) and, if so, is it
know which update is the cause?

I've got one client with a P4/XP+SP2 system that's in a constant cycle
of rebooting once they logon - until they logon it runs fine.

I did a repair/reinstall with XP+SP1 from their CD and it runs fine,
when I do a windows update it shows that it needs 64 updates - after
they install it does the IRQ_NOT_EQUAL... and BSOD's. I've updated all
the drivers, flashed the BIOS update... If I install SP2 it does the
same.

I've disabled Updates and left it as SP1 until I can get a resolution.
The machine is rock statable with SP1 and it's a new intel motherboard.
Oh, and I replaced all hardware except the motherboard...

Once they get the security updates it just wont stay up after they
logon. Before they logon it will sometimes stay up, but as soon as they
logon it either restarts or does a BSOD.

If I figure it out without wiping it I'll post the resolution for you.
