Continuing column on same page

I have a report that generates a long list of two narrow fields. How to I
get the report to print two or three columns (of two fields), like a
newspaper, to a page.

Open the report in design view.

Highlight the section band containing the fields (?Details section).

Click File | Page Setup ... Columns tab.

Set up your columns.
