contiguous RAM memory

Hellow all,

Please help me to solve this problem.
The following is about my system.
*128MB of RAM
*CF(256MB) protected by EWF(RAM)
*running with RTX(Ardence)
*my application is registered at start up

My problem is that my appliacation needs to allocate 264KB of
contiguous memory using RTX function after Windows boot ,
but it fails sometimes.

Is RAM fragmented by EWF(RAM) or Windows boot?

Did you trying running the system without EWF?
You might want to check with Ardence directly to see if there are any
compatitblity issues with RTX and EWF.

I didn't try running my system without EWF,
but the CF needs to be protected by EWF(RAM)
anyway...

Is there any possibility that EWF(RAM) fragments
RAM badly? or...

Is there any way to defragment RAM?

by the way, I've just bought your book last night,
and just waiting till it's delivered!

How EWF manages RAM - I don't know. It is okay to run without EWF on a CF
for a test.

Since you need contiguous RAM I'm guessing that you may be doing something
like a memory transfer from another processor. If so could you possibly
contact me directly since I would really like to ask you a few questions?
