Content Controls

I’ve some content controls in my document. Can I reuse the data in those
content controls in other places inside the same document, without retyping
them? In other words, can I use a content control as a data source that can
be referred to and read by a field or something alike?

Thanks in advance

Another possibility: You can insert a bookmark surrounding the content
control, and then use Ref fields to repeat its contents elsewhere. And in a
Rich Text content control you can insert a bookmark surrounding only part of
the text (this isn't possible in a plain text content control). This will be
much simpler than mapping content controls to XML, but less robust because
bookmarks are easy to delete.

Thanks Freedman. This was my first thought also, but I wnated to make use of
content controls directly, and wanted a more robust way as you said.

Thanks a lot for your efforts and quick response
