Hi,
A friend of mine uses Outlook 2002 SP3 on Windows XP Home. I recently had
to reformat his hard drive and reload all of his software from scratch. I
installed Outlook, restored a backup of his .pst file, setup his profile
along with his email account, and told it to use the .pst file I just
restored. Everything works fine. The only problem he says is that when he
tries to send an email and clicks the "To" button, the Select Names dialog
box does not show email addresses from his Contacts file.
As far as I knew, all you had to do to make this happen was go to properties
for the Contacts folder on the "Outlook Address Book" tab and check "Show
this folder as an email address book". I know I did this. I am going back
to look at it in a couple days, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me
any other reasons that would prevent his contacts from being displayed.
Thanks,
Paul
