Contacts default send from email address

Harry

I use outlook for all my email, 13 different accounts. I, being
absentminded, consistently forget to change the sending account when emailing
various friends, customers, and clients before sending new emails.

I think a nice additional contact field could be the default sending email
address. That way, when a contact is defined, we can assign the email
address to use when creating emails for that person/business.

For instance, "Mom" could have the default sending address "(e-mail address removed)".
But, "Pat Givens" (my boss) could have a default sending address
"(e-mail address removed)". When a new email was created for either contact, it would
automatically assign the sending email account to the contacts default.

Thanks

Thank you Diane, I just found this post while looking to do the same thing.

I realise UIs everywhere are being dumbed down, but an advanced form of this
(hidden so as not to cause confusion) would be great, although as suggested
would be better than nothing. The form of advanced-ness I had in mind is an
account set up by email address for a contact. So the use case is loosely:

Contact Bob
Email1: (e-mail address removed)
Email2: (e-mail address removed)

Email1FromAccount: (e-mail address removed)
Email2FromAccount: (e-mail address removed)

Regards

Rob
