Contacts as attachments lost

I emailed some Contacts as Attachments from work (Office XP Outlook) to
home (Office Outlook 2002). When I opened the email, the Attachments were
Messages with the contact name in the subject line instaed of the Contact I
had attached.

Is this incompatibility or did I do something wrong?

You did something wrong.
To send Contacts in an email, insert them as an Outlook Item in a message in
RTF format.
