Contact Synchronization between BCM and Exchange?

R

Rick S.

So what is Microsoft's strategy for keeping contacts synched between the BCM
DB and the Exchange Store? Having contacts in the BCM DB does you no good if
you need to find them while using something like OWA or a mobile device via
active synch or other tool. (Yes I know there is a BCM tool for SP & PPC,
but have u tried it...very typical v1 quality and it does not integrate into
your contact list.)

It is a small saving grace that you can drag and drop from BCM to Outlook.
But that is not without it's quirks.

Thoughts?

Rick:

My answer is CompanionLink or PocketMirror. That will synch your BCM
contacts to your handheld's Pocket Outlook database and Exchange will handle
the tasks, appointments, and emails. Not perfect, but workable...

To answer your first question, we haven't heard what Microsoft's strategy is
for BCM and Exchange. Hopefully, it will change...

HTH,
Lon
