I recently upgraded from Windows 98 to XP and in Outlook
2003 contacts I use to be able to spell out the first
letters of a name and it would scroll to the name. It
will not work. I can only go to the letter in the index
and then scroll with the mouse. Any thoughts would help

Try clicking on one of the address cards before you start typing. It
takes a bit of practice, but you'll figure it out pretty fast if that is
indeed the issue.
