Contact List Sorting when sending emails

I am using Microsoft Outlook 2002. When sending an email and the
select names box comes up the contact list is sorted alphabetically by
first name. Is there any way to change this to sort by last name.
When you go to the contact list they are sorted by last name but not
when you are trying to send an email

Irritatingly, the outlook address book uses 'first last' by default - I've
never understood why. You can change this - go to tools, e-mail accounts,
view/change address books, property of Outlook Address Book, and tick the
'file as' box.
