Contac list

I am new to this. I can organize my contact list by last name first, but when
I access the list from email, the list is not last name first. Help. Al

The address book item Properties for each entry allow for the order the name is shown in, last name first, or whatever.

Address Book, highlight a contact, Properties, Name tab, Display drop box.
