Hi, M. Rajesh; I have a question. When you uninstall the Video driver,
and reboot, Windows always installs it back again upon bootup, before you
have a chance to install the new one...Doesn't this put you right back where
you were? I know you describe the correct way of doing this proceedure, so
I'm not desputing anything, I was just wondering...A thirst for knowledge...
Thanks, and your input to this "Puzzle" would be appreciated.

Hi
When you go for an upgrade, it means that some of the software that was
written for 2000 was not available for xp at the time of releasing the
drivers. so you will
have to go for the new drivers. contact the vendor of the video card or
search the manufacturer's web site to search for updated drivers for the
video card.
then go to device manager and then uninstall the drivers for the display
adapter. You will be prompted to restart your computer. When the computer
restarts then you can install the new drivers for Windows XP for the video
card and your display problems will disappear.

'pauses' in the graphics. EVery second the display pauses for about 1/10th
of a second. I've tried installing all the lastest service packs etc. from
Windows Update, and updated my graphics card drivers, but to no avail.
