Consolidating data from seperate files

I have a workbook that I have been making that shows information about
collectible cards. Power, Toughness, level, that sort of thing. I can
download a CSV from the website I play this game on that will give me all
the data from my current collection. I have formatted this into my workbook
and I have all the available cards in the workbook. What I would like to be
able to do is import the CSV file with the new data when I download it
"onto" the existing data, replacing the information. I do not want it to
overwrite 3 of the columns, they have what the cards set is from and its
name. Those have been formatted with hyperlinks to the website showing the
information from your collection. With all the power of spreadsheets, there
has to be a formula or SOMETHING that can do this for me. I have not really
used Excel for 10 or more years so I really do not remember much on how to
do things. My friend helped me with a few things on the spreadsheet, but
this is a problem that we figured using the Consolidate button would do (it
made sense that it would do something like that) but it doesn't want to work
unless it replaces ALL the data. But like I said, I do not want it to
replace 3 of the columns, just the rest of them.

Robert,

Set up your workbook to have two sheets: one data, one with formulas. Move the three columns onto
the formulas worksheet, and use links to pull the data from the data sheet to the formulas sheet.
That way, when you import the data, you are only overwriting data.
