Connection wizard and modem dial-up

Since I had to reinstall XP Pro(upgrade mode) over XPSP1 Pro the "new
connection wizard" no longer give me the option for a modem dial-up
connection (option is dimmed). The broadband connection is forced. It seems
also that my PC is to connect through a LAN, but it's a stand alone.
