connection to server interrupted

I have aol but view my mail via outlook 2003. I am receiving mail ok, but
cannot send it. This is only through outlook. AOL is fine. The message I
receive is from imap: connection to server interrupted. I checked how imap
is set up and it seems to be ok. Any ideas?

Are you properly authenticating to the outgoing server?
