Hello, I have suddenly lost all my internet connection settings. When I go
to "View Connections" in my computer, the local area connection is not there
anymore. When I click on "Set up a small or home office network", the wizard
does not display. Also when I try to run "Add Hardware" in control panel,
the wizard does not start.

I connect to the internet through a broadband router which is permantly
connected to the internet. I have run several spyware programs but this has
not helped. Also, My virus checker detected W32.trogen-gen (or something
like that) a few days ago which attached itself to some files in the windows
directory, but the anti virus program could not repair, so I deleted it.

Also tried re-installing "Networking Services" in control panel but this has
not helped.

Hope someone can help
