connecting to server, initialization errors, active X

Please help me! I got rid of the freakin blaster, now my
computer is all screwed. I'm not a techie, but would
llike some simple advice in lay terms. I can't get rid
of two initialization errors. Is this a side effect of
the worm? Usually I just go to control panel, run,
misconfig etc....My computer does not seem to be taking
any direction from me.

The files are TFTP500 and TFTP3444. "Windows needs to
know what program created it" Huh?

Also i cannot download the updates it says my Active X
control settings are too high. But when I change them,
it changes back to high security.

I am also having problems connecting to MSN messeger,
can't set up my husbands e mail account. I had to delete
his whole account because of all the errors.

Puhleese help me....

OK, the TFTF* files are virus files. If you got rid of blaster by just
running a tool from Symantec or another av company, you probably are
still infected with variants. You need to have a full, current
antivirus program installed, update the definitions, and do a full
system scan. I just had a client with similar symptoms and while he did
have the msblast worm, after that was removed he still had welchia and
the W32/Spybot worm.

HTH,

Malke
