Connect laptop to domain printer

Hi,

My boss has a laptop which he bought. The laptop is Vista home
edition. We are running small business server and our own domain. I
can't connect his laptop to the domain, he doesn't like username/
passwords.

Our printer is hooked up to a pc on the domain. Is there any way I can
get vista to remember a username and password to use each time he
wants to print (preferably not in a plain text document calling net
use)?

Any help would be appreciated, even if you think the answer is no you
fool

No. But you're not the fool - your boss is. Upgrade him to either Vista
Business or Ultimate or buy him his own printer.

There are two issues here.

1. You can assign password to his logon ID and modify regedit to auto logon.
This how to may help,

auto-logon - How toA: The simple way to setup AutoLogon a Windows OS is use
TweakUI AutoLogon feature. You can download TweaUI from Microsoft. ...

2. If you create the same username on both domain and local computer, he
should be able to access most resource in the domain network. Check this
post.
