Confused about XP Service Packs

I have to re-install XP Home Edition on my Destop computer, which took me
back to SP 1.

Does anyone know how I get SP2 to install, where on the MS web site, or is
there an alternative I'm not aware of?

You can download SP2 from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx

Make sure that you backup any important data before you install SP2.
