Conflicting Product Keys???

I have a Dell Dimension 8250 with Win XP. The product key that Aida32
and Magical Jellybean
keyfinder locates are exactly the same ... BUT, it is a different
number than the product key number that Dell affixed to the outside of
my computer. Should I believe Aida? Suggestion?
Thanks...

The key Aida32 and Magic Jellybean report is the generic key Dell uses to
install to all the systems it sells. The key on the case is the one you
would to reinstall.

The ones they give are the one used when Dell generated a 'master'
installation which it then copied to a whole batch of machines. In such
cases use the one on the label.

Michael,

Someone already responded to you on your other thread about this. Go with
what is one the box. The # your pulling from the registry is probably the
OEM# from the manufactures copy & not the one your licensed to re-use.
