Configuring VPN over 2 way satellite broadband

I am attempting to configure a VPN connection to my office network. The
office network is connected to the internet through a Directway DW6000 two
way satellite terminal. This terminal acts as a DCHP server on the office
network using NAT. It plugs directly into the network hub. I have the public
IP address of the DW6000 and the private IPs of the network computers but am
unable to work out how to get through this to the network. I have configured
one XPpro machine on the network as VPN server. The DW6000 has a packet
filter firewall to prevent unrequested incoming but it is disabled at the
moment. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to this absolute novice.
NB Does it complicate things if I am attempting to connect from my small home
network also connected through a similar connection although the home network
uses a wireless router as DHCP server.

Have you spoken with DirecWay about this?
Usually - VPN is not supported because of the time-lag in the signal.

The ole directway vpn hook up. i have tried this but to noavil it does
not work! let me explain why. after weeks of trying different things i
talked to head of op's for directway and the latency for vpn over
satellite is to great so they shut off all port that include vpn and
any ports that are useing the vpn algarythm. the fix is to either find
another wireless provider or another internet provider. yet sattelite
is cool but doesnt work to good for business use.
