configuring SUS clients from an NT server

How can I use system policies to configure SUS clients
(windows 2000 and XP) from a NT 4.0 server? I ask this
because our domain controllers are NT 4.0 and we only use
windows 2000 server for the SUS server, so we cann´t use
group policies because the 2000 server is not a domain
controller
