I have conditionally formatted several columns in my spreadsheet. Since many of my entries are the same I would like to be able to paste from the clipboard into these conditionally formatted cells. When I paste into the cells from the clipboard the conditional formatting does not appear. If I type each cell seperately the condtional formatting. Help????

Use the format painter (the paintbrush icon). Select your source cell,
double-click the icon, and every subsequently selected cell gets that
format. Esc to quit.

kkakaak, a straight copy/paste pastes everything, including the formatting
of the copied cells, so you are replacing the conditional formatting when
you paste into the cells. Instead, try Paste Special, pasting formulas or
values only. That will preserve the formatting. (If pasting formulas, make
sure the formulas do not return reference errors.)
