conditional shading?

i have a formula which calculates a percentage >>>

=IF(W134=0,"< 0% >",SUM(AJ2+AK2)/W2)

what I want to do is if the percentage calculated is x < 30%, highlight the cell in red.

if the percentage calculated is 30% < x < 70%, highlight in yellow,

and suprisingly, if x > 70% , highlight the active cell in green...

If possible i would like this to happen autmatically, in excel, and NOT a VB macro.

any help would be much apperciated.

thank you

Hi Camron107,

Have a look at the possibilities of Format, conditional format.

Use conditional formatting.

Condition 1
Cell value is Less than
0.3

Condition 2
Cell value is Between
0.3

Condition 3
Cell value is Equal to or greater than 0.3

After entering each condition press the format button and the Pattern
tab and choose the colour you want.
