conditional formula: time to expiration date becomes < 6 months

How do I structure a conditional format when the time between today and an
expiration date is less than or equal to 6 months (180 days)?
 
Try Cell Value, Less Than, =TODAY()+180

Think the CF setting for "Cell Value Is" needs to be:
between, =TODAY(), and, =TODAY()+180
