conditional formatting

i have tryed to use this with three options
"A" "B" "C"

each haveing a color of its own
when i do this the "A" stays the same and the others trun as they wer
set up to do
if i change the letter that is in "A" to another letter it works ok

what with that??

And the information that you need to tell us about what you
are using is missing.

Which cell get colored are dependent on your selection
before entering the Conditional Formatting. The formula
used to determine if the cell is to be C.Formatted or not
is dependent of the formula returning True or False,
and the interpretation of the formla is based on the
active cell.

why dont the letter "A" change color?
If i change the letter in the CF then new letter changes colors
only the letter "A" dont change what do i need to do?
