Conditional Formatting

Hi guys,

I have set up a couple of conditional formatting rules to colour cells if
they meet the requirements i have set. However, could someone let me know
what format condition i need to enter in order to keep the cell white if no
text is entered into the cell?

Cheers,
Rodney

You don't need a condition, if it doesn't meet the others it stays
uncoloured.

Hi Bob,

I dont think what i wrote made sense. Basically the cells i have turn red if
they exceed a date or stay green if they are below. However, that means the
cells are red until anything a date is entered into the cell. Can i set
another condition to make them stay white if nothing is in the cell?

Cheers.

I don't see how an empty cell would turn red, empty is not greater than any
date.

Hi Bob,

The formatting is as follows:

If the cell value is less than todays date it turns red.
If the cell value is equal to or more than todays date it turns green.

I think that as empty is less than todays date thats why it turns red?

Cheers,
Rod
