Conditional Formatting

I Have a check box in a form. ticked if Invoice is satisfied. is there any
way once ticked that a line/cross appears across the form or something along
those line giving a quick indication that the invoice has been paid

Do you know how to set the visible property on a control and then change the
property using VB
