How can I make an entire row of a report a different color.

Can it be done in a table?

Hi,
tables are NOT for formatting. You or your users should not use it as
viewing or editing data. This is done on forms and reports. Conditional
formatting might not work with this as it only ties to one control. Have a

It cannot be done in a table. Conditional formatting works in forms and
reports. On my website (www.rogersaccesslibrary.com), is a small Access
database sample called "ConditionalFormatting.mdb" which illustrates how to
do this.

Jesras,

You can use Conditional Formatting for this in a report. The trick is
to put a textbox that fills the entire report section, and apply the CF
to this textbox. If you need more explicit help with this, please post
back with more details or examples of what you want to achieve.

Thanks for the help. I should have more specific. I would like the text to
be a different color, not the background.

In that case, I would apply the Conditional Formatting to each of the
data controls in the report's Detail section.
