conditional formatting

I need help.
I have a cell A1 with todays date in it
I have a column P with expiry dates in it.

What I would like to accomplish is to have the cell change
its
fill color based on how close it is getting to todays date.
ex. 0 days cell=red.
1-30 days cell=orange.
31-60 days cell=yellow.
61-90 days cell=blue
91+ days cell=clear

At the very least, I'm guessing I could use the
conditional format but that limits me to only 3 choices.
If this would be the best option, I would like to know the
formula to perform that function. Although I'd prefer to
have all criteria, I can probably drop the 90 day option.
If what I would like to achieve is possible, could someone
please help me?

Many Thanks in Advance.
