Conditional Formatting on Form

I have 2 subforms on a main form. Both subforms hold the
same data but are filtered differently so one form shows
all records and the other just a few.
What I would like to do in have the one subform that shows
all records show the corresponding records from the second
subform in red.

I have tried applying conditional formatting using an expression
but this turns all the records in the subform red and not just
those in the second subform.

Can anyone help?

Izzy,

I would imagine that Conditional Formatting would be a good way to do
this. What is the data value that determines whether a record is
included in the second subform? This is the value you will need to use
as the basis of the conditional formatting setup. Maybe your general
idea was good, but you didn't quite get the CF expression correct.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for responding so quickly.
The data value is CPID in the larger subform
which is equal to ID in the smaller, these
are Long Integers

Izzy,

Yes, but I mean the data *value*. I mean, you said the data that is
shown on the second subform is "filtered", so... what is the criteria
that is used do determine whether a record is included in the record
source of the second subform. My point is, that whatever this criteria
is, it will be the same criteria that will be used to determine the
conditional formatting of the first subform. No?
