Conditional formatting of a shape

I'm trying to create a report that shows a green circle if positive, yellow
if neutral, and red if negative. I've got formulas that link to the circles
to show "+", "=", and "-" within the circle, but would really like the colors
to make the report draw attention to the readers.

I can't see where conditional formatting will work within a shape. Is there
a way to do this?

Thank you.

Presumably you're not dealing with color-blind readers. If you are
you're wasting your time with this.

What's wrong with + and - showing up in boldface and a larger poin
size than =?

Also, you could type an l (lower case L) and change the typeface t
Monotype Sorts, which comes standard on Windows machines, which woul
display as a circle. Then use conditional formatting to change it
color.

If you really want to do this with drawn circles, you're going to nee
to use a Calculate event handler to select these drawn objects an
change their colors. There's no way to change drawn objects usin
conditional formatting
