Conditional Formatting Issue

After using conditional formatting on a column, then changing to view
functions in cells (CTRL + ~), and then going back to view values, cells with
a custom date format (3rd from last in the list), show up only in the
function-view format of miliseconds.

This happens no matter what, and it won't go back so long as conditional
formatting remains in effect.

So, this is a bug in Excel where it misses the step of going back to the
normal display of custom date format in cells with conditional formatting
after viewing the sheet in formula view.

Ctrl + ~ is used to apply the General number format, and it will remove your
custom format.

You are right, I was using the wrong key, I was thinking of the accent mark.
Though, the tilde key also changed the view from value to formula.

Interesting.
