Conditional Formatting Errors

Hi

I am trying to set conditional formatting in my report, I have read most of
the posts both here and on other websites and I don't think my conditrional
formatting is working correctly. I would like to colour the box red if the
PV appears within the text and green background if CF appears within the text.

Suggestions of:- Expresssion is - Like "*PV*" dont work I show an error of
The expression you entered contains invalid sytax, you may have entered a
comma with a preceding identified.

In other posts I have read about the setting of On Focus - I don't have this
I only have field value & Expression is.

I am using Access 2003 - am I missing something? do I need to install
something extra?

Thanks very much

Kerry,

Like is an operator that requires an expression on both sides. Try in the
expression:

[YourField] Like "*PV*"

Hope that helps.
