Conditional Formatting - Colors

I have co-developed an Access 2000 database that manages office pools for the
NCAA Basketball Tournament ... I run it in Access 2003, but maintain the 2000
format for a lot of the pool participants that are still running on 2000 ...
Several output items (Forms and Reports) utilize Conditional Formatting to
achieve the desired output results ... I have two specific questions in this
regard ...

1. Is it possible to gain access to the custom "color pallete" (like in
normal formatting activities that aren't CF) to allow us to use custom colors
rather than 'just' the standard 40 choices in the 8 x 5 drop-down box? ... We
use custom colors we prefer in a lot of places and would like to maintain
consistency throughout the database and its output; and

2. Is there an add-in or workaround for the limit of three (3) CF
conditions? ... We have a need for only four (e.g., in the Final Four), but
using the 'default' and the three allowed isn't where we want to be ...

Thank you!

Thanks for the reply Roger ... We use custom colors for the four "brackets"
and desire to color-code the regional finals winners into the Report and Form
boxes for the teams that advance to the Final Four ... Specifically, here's
what we have and what we desire to accomplish ...

The 'standard/default' color scheme is BackColor: 6710835 and ForeColor:
14345444 (Bold and present in all cases) ...

The desired colors we'd like to have as the Final Four takes shape are for
the Regional winners to have the following ...

R1 - BackColor: 128
R2 - BackColor: 6697728
R3 - BackColor: 16384
R4 - BackColor: 1855675

Obviously the custom colors we use are not the real issue, but rather our
desire to have access to the custom color pallete instead of being
dissatisfied with the standard colors available thru the User Interface ...

Thanks!
