I have a control named Type on my form and wish for the color to change to
red if it equals Quote. It is either Invoice or Quote. The name of the
control is Tex420. What is the syntax for this Please ?

Thanks, Dave

1) Select the control in Design View
2) Go to Format->Conditional Formatting
3) Under Condition 1 set the first dropdown to "Field Value Is"
4) ... set the second dropdown to "equal to"
5) ... set the third field to "Quote" (without the quotes)
6) Select the red color swath from the color dropdown. This is the button
with the 'A' with a red bar beneath it.
