Conditional dropdown??

Is it possible to present different dropdown list depending upon th
contents of another cell?

For example: Cell A1 is validated from a list of, " Apple", "orange"
"grape".

If "apple" is selected in A1, B1 has the choices of"macintosh", "gala"
or "sour".

If "orange" is selected for A1, B1 has the choices of "navel"
"mandarin" or "sweet".

If "grape" is selected for A1, B1 has the choices of "red" or "green".

May be conditionall validation would be a better name.

Possible??

To create the dropdown lists, you can use Data>Validation. There are
instructions here for dependent lists:
