Hello All,

If I have in a column a list of names, which could potentially exten
for 2000 or so rows, but this will only include about 20 or so names a
the most, can I get Excel to give me a list of the names that ar
included?

For example, one name might be repeated hundreds of times, but anothe
might only appear once.

Thank you
Hywe

Excellent. That works really well.
However, I am finding that the name in the first cell of the list
appears twice - is there a way to stop it doing this?
Many thanks
Hywel

Hi

i'm guessing that they may not be identical ...check to see if you have a
space after one of them.
also =A1=A2 will return TRUE if they are in fact indentical and FALSE if
not.

I'm guessing that you have no header row and Excel is using the first cell in
the column as a header and not one of the "unuques".

Make that "uniques"
