Concurrent Network Connections, Wired and Wireless

Is it possible to configure Windows XP Pro (SP-2) to prefer one
network connection over another? Specifically, I have a laptop with
internal wireless, at my workplace the wireless network requires
authentication and configures routing differently from the wired
network. I am wondering if it is possible to configure Windows to
always default to the wired connection if present and bypass any
available wireless connection.

Currently I have just used the workaround of disabling my internal
wireless adapter when I plug into the wired network.

Thanks for any insight.

sounds like routing issue. You may want to modify the default gateway metric
and make the wireless a high #.
