my machine closesdown and i get a message saying rpc
(remote procedure control ) has closed. what does this
mean and how do i fix it?

Your computer is infected with the virus MsBlast.
Search the computer for the removal tool and then remove the virus.
then enable the firewall and also keep your computer upto date with windows update.
also make sure that your virus scanner is upto date.
