Computer Will Not Shut Down

When I press "start", "turn off computer" , "restart" I get the following
popups:

1. End Program -mmjb.exe. Ending program please wait.

2. This program is not responding. To return to windows and check the
status of the program, click cancel.

3. Choice is between "End Now" (popup goes away) or "Cancel.

Computer will not shut down. Must unplug. Can anyone help?

I'm assuming you have the musicmatch jukebox installed on winxp sp2? If so,
try to remove/reinstall it and it should stop making problems.

Music Match Juke Box is the program in question, which you probably already
know. It seems like the not responding thing is very popular these days.
When I get one that says not responding I hit Control, Ault, Delete and it
will shut down that program but not your entire computer.

You also write that you have to unplug the computer. Have you tried holding
the button in for at least ten seconds. Most of them will not shut down
unless you hold it in. I don't know that I have helped you, but I did the
unplug thing once and a tech told me to hold the button in and it works.
