My computer was running fast a while ago. Then all of a sudden it
slowed down alot. Before I had that problem, I ran a pc pitstop scan
and it said the disk was running fine, but after it slowed down the
results said that my computer has unusually low performance. (You can
see the report at
"http://www.pcpitstop.com/pcpitstop/Summary.asp?TechExpress=E8LTPWKJ38JSRGLQ").
I am wondering how to get the PC running like it was.

I am also having another problem. Every now and then on a hot day, the
computer will crash
and beep until I take the power away. Is that just because it is over
heating? Can I have windows warn me and shut down to avoid the beep?

My last problem is that my computer restarts after I log in sometimes.
It seems to happen around the time that Skype Beta starts but I am not
sure. Once my computer is on it says that the system recovered from a
serious error. The problem might also be in my D-Link adapter as it
gives me problems or my ATI card as that causes some BSODs.

Thanks if you can help me with any of the problems!

Since you already know your computer is having hardware problems, solve
those first and see if all the other symptoms go away. If you keep
allowing your computer to overheat and don't fix the hardware problems,
there is a good chance that you will do serious damage to the machine.

Here are general hardware troubleshooting steps:

Testing hardware failures often involves swapping out suspected parts
with known-good parts. If you can't do the testing yourself and/or are
uncomfortable opening your computer, take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigStoreUSA).
