Hello people

I am choosing hardware to build my next computer.
It will be used for:

- CAD/Electronics design (AutoCAD, PSpice, Protel)
- Image editing (Photoshop mainly)
- Programming (VB, C/C++, Python)
- Office / Internet (browsing, e-mail, chat, P2P...)

Will also use a dual-boot system to select between Windows and Linux.

What hardware config do you suggest? I don't want anything too expensive (1),
nor I will be using games.

(1) Please remember I am in Brazil. Here, hardware isn't the cheapest thing.

Thanks!

An interesting question. Why can't you let us know what your budget is? If
you can afford AutoCAD and Protel, then you're likely to have enough money
to buy a high spec machine.
