Does anybody know how to correct the time clock when
starting the computer (typically after being turned off
overnight) where the time clock shows January 01, 1601
12:02am. This little quirk upon booting up in this year
deletes all information from the previous day.

Any suggestions as to how this can be fixed.

Thank you,

Your CMOS attery is probably dead. You'll most likely
need to replace it on the computer's motherboard.
