Computer Starting Freezing Recently

I have been keeping up with auto updates, and recently my computer has
started feezing up. I can not use Control/Alt/Delete, windows button, or
anything. The mouse stops, and I find that I must hit the restart button to
get things working again. I do not know if a recent update may have caused
this, all I do know is it started about a week ago.

Does anyone have an idea, please adivse a solution to fix this. nothing
worse than when typing a letter, or being on an important subject on the
internet and this freeze thing happens.

After i installed patch kb896727 I has similar problem. I installed the new
release of the pathc and everything is orking on some computers some still
don't work. It happen a bout the augost 22 it migh be teh same problem.

Where did you find the new release of the patch, that might do it. My problem
started about the same time.

Go to teh windows update site they have it listed on the main body of the
page there or go to technet and look for it there.
