Computer restarts under weird printing conditions.

While trying to print to a HP Designjet 450C plotter
through a program called Earthwork 3D (Agtek), the
computer crashes and restarts. When I checked the event
viewer, I get the following message:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck
was: 0x0000001e (0xc0000005, 0xa0037bb8, 0x00000000,
0x00000000). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was
saved in: C:\WINNT\Minidump\Mini051104-01.dmp.

The crash only occurs when a print preview occurs when
this plotter is chosen in that program. No other time. I
have contacted HP and Agtek, and neither company
understands what the problem is. I was assuming it was a
hardware failure, but I do not know what hardware would
need checking.

Thanks for any help.

Might it be that the print preview is designed to work with raster graphics
and the plotter uses vector graphics?
