Make sure the fan is plugged in properly and that the board fan is
temperature controlled (the BIOS will have a way of telling you that). If
your CPU is running at 150F/70C, I would probably rule out that board fan as
the problem, as it's not the fan that's supposed to cool the CPU. Is there a
fan on top of your CPU's heatsink? If not, seriously consider getting one
before you blow out your processor.

Shut down your computer before you fry the CPU. Take the computer to a
repair person if you can not change out the CPU cooler by yourself!

Hi, Corbett.

There is a peer-to-peer newsgroup for Asus motherboard users on Usenet. If
you have a newsreader program (such as Outlook Express) and access to a news
server (through your ISP or a free server or a paid news server), you can
access the group at:
alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.asus

If you don't understand what I'm talking about, ask a friendly computer
geek. Most of them would gladly show you how to access that newsgroup. ;^}
